PARADOX

Whilst we remain – absorbed and embedded within our own experience

Our perception of our world is deceptive

To the extent that we experience a visceral reaction to any suggestion that our experiences are actually illusory.

However, should we examine the nature of existence, as it appears to us

We shall find no actual substantiality to anything.

And, with this recognition, of our apparent paradox

We can start to dislodge our habitual familiarity

That entraps us… all.

The two extremes, of existence and non-existence

Can be reconciled within the understanding of Buddha’s intention

That all phenomena exist in total dependence upon the mind

They are in a dependent relationship

Whose paradox can be realised
