From the swamp’s dark soft soil
The lotus was conceived
In the mind of the artist
As the multi-hued light
Initiated the seed
Of intention
Held in the sacred space
Of the heart
Until the recognition
Of activation
Ripened the potential
In the bright summer sun
And welcomed the passing shadows
In the knowledge
That purity
Is the liminal truth
Of the emptiness
